A Division of Moss Engineering Corp. (MEC), Moss Building Products is Northeastern Indiana's largest supplier of quality commercial building products. We have been serving Northeastern Indiana, Northwestern Ohio, and Southern Michigan since 1922 when its founder, D.D. Moss, P.E., started the company as a commissioned engineer/salesman representing the Truscon Steel Company. Over the years, he continued to add engineered building products and staff to the company. When Mr. Moss was ready to retire he sold the company to a select number of his employees, incorporating MEC in 1954. Since then, these individuals have retired, and in the process we became a 100% Employee Stock Ownership Plan Corporation (ESOP) dedicated to offering our customers the finest products and services at a competitive price.

Currently we have two locations, the main office, warehouse and fabrication shop located in Fort Wayne, Indiana and a sales office and support warehouse located in Elkhart, Indiana. Our main warehouse includes a certified Warnock Hersey custom hollow metal frame and door fabrication / conversion shop, in addition to a wood door shop that provides quick access to custom milled, commercial wood doors. We stock frequently requested building products such as door hardware, window lite kits, access panels, washroom partitions, washroom accessories, C and Z purlins, metal floor and roof deck, and roof hatches. These are available for ordering and immediate pick-up at our customer service counter and loading docks, or by scheduled delivery.
