Pipe Cutting & Flange Facing

We offer OD-mounted pipe cutting up to 60" in diameter, with capabilities for multi-angle bevelling and high-precision flange facing. Our services cover a range of flange types, including Raised Face (RF), Ring Type Joint (RTJ), Gramophone, and Greyloc, ensuring reliable and accurate sealing surfaces for critical applications.

In-Situ Milling

MOSS provide 2D and 3D in-situ milling services up to 2 metres, and orbital milling up to 5 metres. Our capabilities include pad milling, machining of mounting seats, pocket milling, and precision keyway cutting in tight or restricted access areas—delivering accurate results without the need for disassembly or transport.

Line Boring

Our precision line boring services reach both diameters and lengths up to 4 metres, using 1.25" and 2.25" boring bars (with reach up to 5 metres). This service is ideal for restoring or machining bores in turbine casings, shafts, rudders, and other large or critical components, ensuring alignment and optimal performance.

Drilling, Tapping & Stud Removal

Our equipment supports precision drilling and tapping up to 150mm in diameter and M75 thread sizes. We also offer robust stud removal services for broken or seized studs up to M150 (6" diameter), ensuring safe and efficient extraction with minimal disruption to surrounding components.

Journal Turning

We provide shaft-mounted journal turning for diameters up to 12" and travel lengths up to 16". This service is ideal for in-situ restoration of worn or damaged shafts, reducing downtime and eliminating the need for disassembly. Other sizes can be accommodated upon request.

Honing & Fine Finishing

We deliver precision honing services for shaft bores, coupling bolt holes, and other critical interfaces, achieving ultra-fine surface finishes and tight tolerances. Ideal for applications requiring high accuracy, improved fit, and enhanced wear performance.
